The booing at full time

I get the frustration and the demand for better, but booing is just so embarrassing.
I get that you’ve paid therefore you can do what you like, but do you boo in a restaurant when you get bad service ? No.
It just reeks of hopelessness and expresses your inability to do anything other than make a silly noise.
The only time I have ever booed in my life was at a pantomime with the kids , at the villain, even then I felt it was a bit naff so I reverted to hissing instead .
Don’t boo your own team .

Isn't that what pre season is for? Getting a team to gel? Surely Oxford would have had the same issues?

Let me ask you this? When was the last time you enjoyed watching us play? When was the last time you came away from a game saying we played well today? I honestly can't think of any since January.
Scunthorpe last season

Not something I ever partake in, even if booing the manager was the idea it comes across as booing the lads on the park which ends up counter productive imo. The last thing we need is to pile more pressure on the players.

They were only booed after the half time whistle and full time whistle. How can something that happens after the match has stopped be counter productive?

How ? Can't be arsed to explain to someone that clueless.

They were already shite, just as shite as the end of last season. The crowd reaction came as a result of the performance, the performance had nowt to do with how the crowd reacted once the game had finished, it's impossible for it to do so

I’ve never booed the team ever in all my years of watching the team either in the game or at the end. I shout at the fuckers and the like it’s just frustration.
To be fair you don’t have to have many booing for it to appear as though loads are doing it, there were many who actually applauded them off.
It is frustration though, and people are right this is basically a continuation of last season, another unconvincing 1-1 draw against opposition we feel we should be beating.
Frustration is always lurking just below the surface at Sunderland. It’s basically a result of the constant underachievement over the last 60 years since the first relegation.
Whether an old fan, middle aged or a young un, you only know failure and mediocrity.

That needs to stop.

It doesn’t help anything.

We will get better as the team gels & the season goes on.
i'm not a fan of booing i never have and never will but if people pay there money and want to boo fair play, but after the first game of the season i think is shit to be honest.
