The booing at full time

Nothing at all suggests we’ll get better. Ross has had 60 games now and doesn’t know his team and doesn’t know his system. Every single game we play we get worse and worse under him. Every player he signs is worse than the one he replaces. What players need to gel? There haven’t been many changes to the 11, especially in forward areas.

Mental that people seem to think we will get better based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever, yet ignore last season where we got worse as time went on and ended the season with some of the worst form in the division.

What going to be the excuse rolled out this season?
Im sure Methven will have one lined up.. A cabal of our parasite fans will need to be patronising, and putting in their place
The fans is my guess. People on here already starting to slag them off.

It’ll only be a few weeks until Donald or Ross are like, “Well there’s so much pressure playing for Sunderland. The fans expectations are far too high and that’s getting to the players.”
See it a mile off.. I'm predicting it now

I was as disappointed as anybody yesterday.
But booing the team off at half time in the first game of the season is pathetic.
Support the team - it’s the least we can do.

Some consider this to be game one, but in reality it’s game 47 for Ross. All yesterday showed was the same problems as last season are present and haven’t been addressed in the slightest. Ross is like an ostrich just burying his head and hoping the problems solve themselves when in reality it’s a relatively simple fix

Booing is pathetic mag like behaviour. Loads around me disgruntled but no booing . I'm in south in row 20 along from johnny macs left stick and it seemed to come fro over toward south east. Hate hearing it

Of course you do...however doesnt mean its okay. Doesnt help the team. Its the 1st game of the season and half of them are new players ffs.

Its not good enough but give the management a cgance to do something sbout it. Fiirst game of seasin alsorts happens

That’s Ross biggest failing - the longer he has been here the worse things have got gradually on the pitch. I accept he had a difficult summer last year but it’s as plain as day that he still has not a clue on best 11, baffling captaincy decisions and new, barely practiced systems that don’t suit our best players.

It was always going to happen, Ross and the players were given a lot of leeway last season. After the way the season fizzled out patience was always going to be in short supply.

We need something to get excited about and yesterday was about as exciting as a wet fart.

All evidence points to things getting worse.
