It won't though. Premier League can spout as much as they want about expulsions. There is no way they are expelling City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd. They are the big earners for their TV rights. If they form a ESL, and those clubs join, they will be in that and the domestic league.

Nothing the EPL could do if enough of the remaining clubs in the EPL voted them out. For it to pass they would need to let enough clubs in to carry the vote through.

Without them the TV deal would shrink dramatically surely. That vastly reduces income for the clubs who be voting.

Totally agree. Would the SPL teams vote for Celtic & Rangers to join EPL, and have a chance of winning?

I hope they all go and then the rest of us can concentrate on the real football. Then for the foreseeable future there will be real competition for the title.
