Team/Squad as it stands

Just need to get off to a good start and build some confidence. Having not watched the championship since we fell thru the f#cker, I've no idea what to expect from teams or who the better players are in the league.

I do think it'll be a big step up from league one, as most teams promoted find themselves fighting it out in the bottom half for the majority of it. We're going to have to be stronger, quicker and more lethal than we have been if we're to get into that top half. We also need to sign some real quality in these next few weeks if we want an outside chance of sliding into one of those play off places.

I cant fathom the logic in signing Dajaku permanently. One headscratcher in an otherwise excellent recruitment strategy.
He’s so raw, but he makes things happen. In terms of goal involvements per minute (combined goals and assists) he was our fourth most productive player - behind only Broadhead, Stewart and McGeady. Given his age there’s definitely something there imo.

He reminded me of Watmore last season. Direct and very unpredictable, which is a nightmare for defenders. Would be handy in some games where we have the upper hand, but just lacking something to get us that goal.

Hes got some good attributes and others that can be taught.

Dajaku and Diamond aren't good enough. We will need bodies to player wide forward positions

Not as bad as made out. But third choice striker when we play one striker up top will be fine.

Isn't Dajaku only 20 years old?
We would be one injury from having to use him up front from the bench he's ok in his proper position but should never play as striker

1. his touch and passing range isnt good enough to play there
2. he consistently makes mistakes that leads to goals

The lad is young with some very good attributes. He came in thru the middle of a season where the team had also been struggling with no time to settle.

Let's see what he's like now that he's settled into the squad and Neil can get his tactics over from the very start of a season

I think the lad will come good.

A full back who could cover both sides (ala Huggins) would be great and a couple of strikers should have us sorted imo

From what AN has said Huggins is miles away from being involved. That makes the above an absolute must. Not sure Winchester/O’Nien are adequate cover for Hume as he’s an unknown quantity. Looks like he’ll be a good player but might struggle as the only option and will need resting. Plus we don’t have any other out and out LB options

Really don’t think it’s a massive step up from bottom too mid table in championship yes we need to strengthen Luton Blackpool have shown that a incredibly limited Wycombe nearly stayed up.if we sign If we sign Nathan broardhead a front 3 of him Ross and roberts is decent for the championship
Not enough goals there if Stewart gets injured

Clarke?

09 is a quality right back! Much rather sign a holding midfielder rather than a right back !
