Been following this thread for what seems like a lifetime, but only given the odd like here and there.

What do people think of the possibility of a midnight press conference as that would coincide with the start prime time television in the states?

Aye, it's alright for you lot spending a bomb and having great backing. Try going through what we have have these last few seasons, watching Everton take one of our own in Pickford, and replacing him with keepers with no hands. We will get very excited thanks very much! I agree about Sky BTW, but this has been going on for years now.

We’ll have Pickford back in two years, man! ;)

I'd imagine they will either be in the 5* hotel in Newcastle or the 5* Seaham Hall.
Someone did post earlier in the week that the Hilton next to the ground has been unbookable for this evening for a good few days. Just had a look and you can't book for tonight. I can't imagine that place being at bursting point tonight. Might they be keeping the masses out for some special visitors?

Your living in a dreamworld if you think anyone in the US, other than a select few, gives two hoots about this.

Aye mate the last 3 seasons have seen us spend big however I've lived through us owned by Kopite Agent Johnson and over a decade of penniless Kenwright selling players like boyhood Rooney and Arteta to just keep the club afloat financially. Without Moyes at the time we would have gone down no question in my mind.

Sadly its what the game has become and we've all become poorer for it.
I'm not calling you out as a glory seeker, and must be hard to be rivals to Liverpool for many a year. I'm just saying nobody should tell us not to get excited over this (Please god happen) after the shit we endured over years (Even the last couple in the Prem) We've got a cracking owner in my opinion in Donald who has done fantastic to sort the financial mess, though not going up was a big blow last season. He has always said he can take us so far, but not further into the premier league without investment. The lads mentioned have the clout we could never have expected at this stage (This stage has probably swung it our way which is even funnier) There are a lot of tongue in cheek comments regarding bits on here, but fuck it, if we can't have a laugh when things are looking positive then what's the point.

He should have been sacked a couple of weeks into his tenure, his squad management in France and his deranged ramblings to the media during the transfer window set two massive fuck off red flags up right away.

Should've been sacked over his slap threat to that female reporter let alone his relegation comments after the smoggy match the defeatist twat
