Takeover Rumours

The plane that came for the Wimbeldon game was registered no. N9997x - a Dassault Falcon 7x.

The one that just landed had the code FA7X on Flight radar - a Dassault Falcon 7x.

Pretty coincidental.

It was also leased from these -

Could quite easily be another from the fleet

Edit - Someone needs to get up the airport and check out the reg number

The only thing I've been told, all day, is that we may all be barking up the wrong tree .... bollocks and double bollocks!

Some, me included, assumed the progress/deal/announcement is dependent on the arrival of the Dell boys, hence all the plane spotting malarkey in which I've participated.

That's all exciting but may be pointless

Apparently they have people in the UK, who will handle whatever occurs in the next week or so. I'm sure there are people imagining these billionaires sitting around nervously playing Kerplunk while they wait for white smoke coming out of the EFL chimney. But there's a suggestion that they've done what they needed to do, signed the cheque and gone home to make loads more money for our January war chest.
Their 'people' will tie up the loose ends and allow Donald & Methven to handle the media conference, etc.

Now my wild unsubstantiated guesses based on other bits & bobs I've been told previously.

If, as was suggested, the Dell boys are only popping in for games they'll either have to rely on Stew & Chas or appoint an 'ambassador' to represent their interests. If that''s the case it could be a video message from the lads and a slick presentation from the ambassador/overlord/boss with the current owners smiling and nodding. Could this be the delay with a dispute over what front is presented?
Could a new DOF/manager/whatever be introduced? There's certainly a lot of teasers coming out via RR/ALS/BBC etc which may just be stalling tactics.

I've no idea tbh, I've been thrown so many curve balls I'm struggle to juggle them all.

Thanks for info & your opinion....understand theres info that may require reading between the lines, sometimes obviously it gets read different ways by different people.

The most import part in this info is the suggestion the deal sounds like its definitely done & the rest is how they want to play it.

My opinion is the work done by SD & CM so far since they arrived the potential new owners should feel confident leaving then running day to day....its not like the mess of shorts sons mate or whoever in high positions.

In reality the only failure so far is no promotion last season, no excuse in my eyes that squad should have been good enough for top two, is that SD & CM's fault? think they played a part in letting maja leave when in my eyes taking chance on compo & promotion may have been better? maybe thats a fans view rather than a more sensible business view?

The real mistake was replacing him with grigg, who from what ive seen appears a half finished journey man? Was that ross, hill or SD ive no idea.

For me too altho it was good at the time, i said to mates, were not good enough to play 60 games a season fookn about with daft cups. was it worth the reconnection & bond between club / fans again? hard to decide, all i know is we cant afford to fook on at this level

I think SD & CM will be well aware no promotion last year wasnt acceptable, double that this year & these potential new owners are not buying in to hang around down here. ross will know this too, id love to think he was but im not sure hes experienced enough to handle the pressure / expectation which will without a doubt build as soon as an announcement is made.

Exciting times, but we all need to keep our feet on the ground & understand there will be set backs, like Peterborough.....its how we react & bounce back....its how we fight & stick together.

For me, its not ideal if what we watch isnt attractive, lets remember we are where we are & win games however it looks & get the fook out of here asap

Haway the lads

Aye, it's alright for you lot spending a bomb and having great backing. Try going through what we have have these last few seasons, watching Everton take one of our own in Pickford, and replacing him with keepers with no hands. We will get very excited thanks very much! I agree about Sky BTW, but this has been going on for years now.

Aye mate the last 3 seasons have seen us spend big however I've lived through us owned by Kopite Agent Johnson and over a decade of penniless Kenwright selling players like boyhood Rooney and Arteta to just keep the club afloat financially. Without Moyes at the time we would have gone down no question in my mind.

Sadly its what the game has become and we've all become poorer for it.

And you were still more successful in them years than we have been for about 60 years.
