I will if I happen to see him. Sat next to him in register and art. We both got an A in "O" level art. His dad had a welding business think that's how he got into the sculptures in metal thing.
Good crack marra. Are you into it still.

Was watching a bit of STID last night with Mrs Sauce (She relented when i wouldn't shut up about watching a little bit of it) and even she asked why, if they were so big, get involved with Sunderland in League 1? I said all about the netflix playing a part, the big club for next to nowt etc etc, but even in my head, i think if you have that much money, you could buy anybody really, and get instant success.

That's what i think these lads are in for. They don't want instant success with work that has already been done for them. These lot are used to building things up from scratch themselves. That's the only way i can see why they would do it, and then it makes more sense. I am waffling but i'm half speaking to myself, trying to convince myself of this happening and on what sort of scale

The way this thread has gone, when it's announced i will be more relieved, but the excitement will be when i hear of their plans. Donald and Charlie get total respect for getting these lads in. I'm still interested about Satori and his involvement as well tbh. I was hoping for him before this story broke.
I hope this is the crux of it. If you want to create a legend, you need something to grow from small beginnings, otherwise it's all 'rich boys toys'. And if they take the whole City, county, region along with them on the way, so much the better. This is not some billionaires buying Man U or Liverpool. This is a plucky underdog taking on the world having been given a chance!

If the deal is already finalised then I can’t imagine so. Plus if sterling keeps dropping then any money they put in after they’ve bought the club would cost them less.
I don't know about sterling dropping but the markets are growing, investment into all areas of the global economy seen to be toodling along nicely and my portfolio this past week is performing remarkably well.

We are their blank canvas. Imagine the pictures they might paint....

Can't talk about it on a forum. Not messing.

In that case I can't really explain mate.

Let's just say it's like replacing Carol Vorderman with Rachel Riley ...

... you'd want Rachel measured for a sexy new outfit before you presented her to the press and gave Carol her ticket.

There you are, that image should keep you thinking for a while

Not that kind of ambassador mate.

No offence to those people but actually someone with worldwide political contacts, influence and a taste for Ferrero Rocher

Think of Platini without the daft hair, sanctimous attitude and brown envelopes.
David Milliband coming back?
That appears to be the case mate.

It's not for the love of ex-industrial towns, a pier you can fish off or the quaint clientele in Jamesons
Nowt the matter with Jamesons. We are all grounded up here. No snobbery allowed. ;) ;)
