I agree with leaving the owners to get on with it but I also think when your club has gone through the mill a little bit you develop a certain level of scepticism. At the end of the day you love your club and you worry what the next guy wants to come in and rip out
Me neither, whoever thought it up is a pure genius imho...I honestly don't know how we've managed for the 100 years.
Fuck the footbridge let's get the monorail built.Gerrin lad!!! it's exactly what we need, a footbridge so we can cross the river....![]()
Nothing that specific, other than what's been in the press, ie he'll be a shareholder, but not on the board. That's not unheard of, even with 100% owners; Abramovic isn't on the board at Chelsea, nor is Ashley up the road.
I agree mate, although SD did drop the Dell Boy computer quote into the mix. Also the Times Article did quote that he would be involved in the background.Interesting to see if Michael Dell is part of it or not.
I prefer the zip line idea!I honestly don't know how we've managed for the 100 years.
Personally I think he's full of shit. If he isn't it makes a lot of what he's says very patronising. I know we're very set in our ways up here and we all know Sunderland isn't exactly Beverley hills. But fuck me there seems to be a lot of people who think they know everything about us and how to fix it. I might be being biased here, but I love where I live.So you have never been to Sunderland and you think you can judge the people’s expectations

inctreasing links with the community can mean anything. they arent going to develop other businesses in sunderland for the sake of it, why would they? they aere philantropists but not this..they want a long term growth asset..
are they so good at business that they can see long term growth in other assets associated with safc that ellis short couldnt? and quinn and his property developer mates?

We should all be issued with one of those hover boards that French gadgie crossed the channel on.I prefer the zip line idea!
Mate, just log off and fuck off back onto the Mag boards./
if they do that the safc fans will go absolutely f***ing beserk..they want instant success NOW not youth players. and when the youth players come though safc fans will just condemn them anyway. there needs to be an attitude change from safc fansd.
I use at least 3 of the burger vans behind the deafy on the way to the match. There’ll be f***ing hell on if they attempt to relocate them.I like the phrase used by a poster above, maybe they're buying tli
If its true (probably not) then I hope their big real estate plans don't impact upon Mackem Pizza near the deaf club in any way, rather the deal abborted if so.

The footbridge!! they're going to build the footbridge, oh my God!!!it's really going to happen.
Or disposal income in the city. Billionaires can build as many hotels, restaurant and casino as they like. It doesn't mean folk can afford to visit them.Difference is we don't have the money to make it happen
