Full House on 'negativity bingo' ...
... remember to collect your prize on the way out.

Asking a question is ‘negative’?

Is being unable to answer it or post a positive response indicative of poor humour?

Do you think there's an element of philanthropy going on here in addition to still making reasonable rates of return, akin to part of the return being an ethical or social dividend if you will. Clearly these fellas get bombarded daily with far better money making opportunities than presented by safc?

Not so much philanthropy (Dell already has a charitable foundation he's put about $1.3bn into) as maybe some kind of legacy project. More than one media source has suggested they've been influenced by the Netflix documentary. I don't think we're the first club they've looked at, but I've also got the impression that they're not interested in simply buying any club going. Let's be frank, the initial investment is chicken feed for them; I suspect they're more attracted by the idea of building something, rather than spending more on a finished article and keeping it ticking over.

A lifetime in corporate America. I suggest, if you’ve any intention of ever shaking their hand, that you get strengthening your grip as it’s hurt you.

Still think Donald will be the connect from us to them.

Yes in the future that’s acceptable. But he can’t answer the initial questions we have about their involvement/ investment strategy/ short and long term goals.

Even if it’s a one off, I want the fans to be allowed to question them and to set the tone of this new era as one of complete transparency.

Agree and that's fair TBH

I'm quite enjoying our humble league one life at the minute. All I want is us to continue winning games and enjoy my days out making memories with my kids. We all know there's parts of our city in decline and that has massive potential. But after visiting other parts of the country following Sunderland I can confidently say we're no worse off than anywhere else. That includes places in the South.

I like the phrase used by a poster above, maybe they're buying tli
I reckon there might be a takeover me.

If its true (probably not) then I hope their big real estate plans don't impact upon Mackem Pizza near the deaf club in any way, rather the deal abborted if so.

Piecing together bits of information from the various press reports, plus a couple of more bits from people I know and trust.
Have you heard how much involvement Dell is having, is a it as the Chronicle says and he’s got pretty much nothing to do with it or is he actually part of the group investing?

The obvious area ripe for redevelopment is between the North Stand and the river. The other obvious bit to buy is the old Lookers garage next to the car park. Perfect spot for a permanent covered fan zone.
