The truth of life in the prem is this for me, we are to do a deal with (the agents) devil, to be succesfull because the truth is, they hold all the leavers at that level, but plenty of clubs toe this line at that level. but at the same time continue to keep bring our own youth into the team, like we are at the moment, i am sure a middle way can be found, its just for the club to find it.

To be fair to them, they have absolutely excelled at one thing.

Chucking away a 12 point lead at the top of the Premier league. It takes a really special club to do that. And with such style. Hat's off to them.

One of my mates was also trying to say the same that Michael Dell not involved (non-mag, but clearly jealous). MSD Partners only worth $10bn etc... doesn’t look like it’s Dell himself but the other 3 is etc. I asked him what he thought the MSD in MSD Partners stands for... he has now changed his tune

The reality is we won’t know until @grumpyoldman interprets the details for us once an announcement is made

I think you probably have already answered that one marra, although he’ll be a minority investor as has been stated in the few articles I’ve seen he’ll still be investing none the less! It’s really amusing me how rattled this has got some people!!!😂😂😂

It is unclear whether the proposed investment is being made by the MSD company that manages the Dell fortune or if its a number of executives who happen to be employed by MSD using their personal wealth - they appear to be very rich men.

I did read however that MSD does invest in sports teams in the US and has interests in baseball. In addition Donald also referred to the investor as having ties with "computers" in the States and I think that he may have wanted to avoid making that connection and distance them from Dell and MSD if they were using their private funds. To my mind In saying that the investment was associated with computers sort of hints that the investor is MDS.

In addition MDS must have some rules about what it allows its top people to get up to in their spare time in order to avoid any confusion in the public's mind about what it is doing and they are doing. For example getting associated with a bad deal that you actually have nothing to do with can be very damaging for an organisation like MDS.

They are looking for any hope to cling onto that there’s a chance this won’t work out!

I've read the finance is coming from Dell and his mates privately, and not through MSD. The only only reason MSD is mentioned is to show their links...
