Tremendous this.

I was on here when it 'broke' and I've barely slept since. Been randomly checking my phone all night, to the point I think my Mrs thinks I'm up to something - also woke up an hour before my alarm was due to go off.

No work will be done today.
I was up till after 2am. The missus went downstairs to sleep in the spare room at 12 because I was keeping her awake.
I'm bastard jetlagged here now.

Joking apart do many of us want to become a Man City? I look forward to having a stable and successful club with a team that plays good entertaining football that's known to be able to give any Club from here or abroad a run for its money.

What a joy it will be to look at a fixture list and never again have to write off a quarter of the games before a ball has been kicked. I want Man City and the rest of them to say..... "Oh bugger we've go Sunderland at the SoL next week".

I don't want a Club whose only ability is to spend daft amounts of money and buying players that no one else could ever hope to afford - were's the fun in that?
I agree, but it is exciting though to think and dream of having a real chance of getting back into the top flight sooner, rather than later. The team must improve, no doubt and a steady approach must be taken. Even Man City took years to get where they are now - one of the best club teams on the planet.

I know where you're coming from, it won't work just hoying money around. Maybe Donald has tried and failed to get the right football people in because they are well aware of our recent fairly disastrous history. But the stability already achieved and with these new investors on board + the stadium, AOL, fan base etc suddenly any head scout, DOF, head coach who might have turned us down before might see things in a new light, not literally but hopefully you get what I mean.

The don incentivised with say a 15% cut would be great versus a bloke running the show on a salary.
Never warmed to Methven but SD clearly rates him.

What are you talking about? Do you honestly believe that there’s no investment imminent? Do you really think this whole Dell link is the brainchild of some journo hack?

Like I said, we really shouldn’t be getting carried away but surely even you can see that something is happening this time.

Dont let him derail another thread with mindlesshorseshit mate.

Rate him? We are all gonna want a statue built of him in his rupert trousers if this comes off. It sounds like he is the ones who brought the new guys to the table as he had connections over in the USA.
