I'm allowing myself to dream because I want to. Wasn't long ago that I posted a reply to kildaremackem saying I wouldn't really want Donald to sell to anyone who had less than about £500m worth because I didn't think they'd be able to make a huge difference. He said I must be on crack if I thought anyone with that much was possible. As such I enjoyed PMing him to remind him of it when this news broke (he didn't reply, then got banned later, oh well). Imagine spending every day dreaming of a major investor coming in and then, as soon as it looks like happening, trying to pour cold water over it for everyone else. That's really not for me.

If you don’t get excited about this what will you ever get excited about? Why even be a football fan?

Besides it’s not as the mags would be respectful if the takeover fell through and we hadn’t let ourselves get carried away.

The odds on them then buying the likes Mbappe, Bale etc dropped and the daft fuckers were lapping it up in their masses. There was talk of Mourinho also wasn't there but for some he wasn't who they wanted. We've had talk and daft speculation with some mild delusions but not at the atmospheric level of delusion those thick fuckers did a few months back and times before :lol::lol:

I think everyone is trying to process in their heads what this takeover actually means for us all club and fans even the wider community.
Nearly 1000 pages tells you this
Excitement, nervous tention, fear of another false dawn, being let down but most of all hope.. Hope that we can finally move forward maybe to a level most of never seen.. Some get carried away and dare to dream some are negative fearful of rules and past hope failing to materialise into anything.
We all though crave something good is on the horizon whether it just be financially stability living within our means climbing steadily but securely or an exciting roller-coaster ride up to where we all believe we should be competing not just making up the numbers.
Either way it will be very interesting to hear their plans for the short and long term future of our club. The deal is done it is now time to relax await the imminent announcement and look forward to our club rising from it's lowest ever position going forward with, hope excitement and stability.
I for one cannot wait to see what the future holds.
One thing regardless of differing opinion.. we all want success and what is best for our club
