SD said it took 2 weeks of non stop, working pretty much around the clock to get the deal to buy it from short through. I don't think this group of people will have the time or can be arsed to work on it 24/7 when there's no need to rush it through. They will have outlines a list of things to do and if they don't get them all done by 5pm then it will be added onto the next days list of things, so on and so forth. I think it hasn't been announced because there is no reason to rush it through.

When I sold my flat I was given a completion date, so I booked removal vans and arranged for the council to pick the unwanted furniture up. At 16.58 the day before completion I was told the buyers had moved the goalposts and decided to push the completion day back to the following week.

This was for a 2 bedroom flat in Doxford Park, not a multi million pound buy out, there’ll be so many obstacles and red tape to overcome.

Unless you’re SBC of course where all deals happen within a day or they fall through.
