We know they've made mistakes, hiring a manager who's not used to L1, selling Maja, buying Grigg, being vague about finances etc etc but they did what they said they'd do and found a new owner. Is this a good thing? I have a lot of respect for how they re-engaged with the fans when we were rock bottom, and pushed through a number of necessary cost cutting measures.....and I really like the blokes to be fair.
However, do they have the experience and football knowledge, to appoint the right people in the right places to take us to where we should be (ie. a Southampton, Burnley, etc)?
I sincerely hope they are, but would like to open up the debate and hear the opinions of others.
The only problem I'd have is if they're making the sale difficult by wanting to stay.
Personally I think they're Football Director wannabes and if the deal hinges on giving them the boot then I'm happy to see them set off on further adventures in football away from SAFC.
