It’s watertight for a few reasons this- but it’s a lot further than on than what we’ve been told. It’s with the EFL and lawyers now. They’re in no rush, as long as it’s done by January.
By January? We’d be near the f***ing relegation zone man.

Stuck with this fucker til then or do they have someone sorted? Appreciate we can't sign players even in Jan but we can still make appointments

We can't sign anyone in Jan unless we remove players from the squad. Can't see it somehow.

A new manager will have his own ideas so will remove players if feels the need to do so in order to bring in his own players.

Is this your interpretation or you think they don't mind if it drags on until January?

Its as simple as this - a better manager would have gone for the throat whilst we had Donny on the ropes on Saturday. We should have been out of sight, then if they score in the 93rd minute its nothing more than a consolation. You're going to seriously struggle to be promoted looking to win games 1-0 every week.

Then his approach and mentality to the MK Dons game the week before, its small time and its weak. We need someone that builds a Sunderland side that makes other managers change their style because of us when we play them. I don't think theres anyone in this league scared to play us home or away as it stands.

He cant shift players till the summer though mate.As nobody will sign these drips. The only thing we can do is bring some loan strikers in jan window from top clubs.

As we’ve seen already this season most sides now look at us as just another League 1 club. That’s a measure of how far we’ve fallen under the current ownership. Appointing Parkinson as manager was just another sign of reinforcing that status.

Completely blows the ‘fans put them under too much pressure’ bollocks out of the window too.

We’ve already lost more league games at home in the season without fans than we lost in either of the other two with fans present.

Presuming the virus called it a day tomorrow, the economic outlook isn’t good. Brexit and the suppression of the economy will lead to millions losing their jobs, regions like this will be hit the hardest. It’s going to be a Rocky few years even if the SOL could be full in a few months time. Many fans of working age may not be able to afford it, and in this league we risk losing a generation of fans. Would like to hope I’m wrong.
Stay away from bridges, cliffs, busy roads, and railway lines mate.

Agree. As I have said many times we can go and get top players on loan. There's nothing to stop us paying a loan fee to a parent club to cover a high percentage of a players wages for the length of the loan. We would pay a small percetage of his wages on our books.

Think Doncaster had 5 loan players in the squad on Saturday from Premier League clubs

We can sign players. U21's are exempt for a start. We sould be scoureing the leagues looking for these anyway. The coming window allows us to resubmit our squad for the remaining games of the season. We can choose not to add players to the squad and they wouldn't count. Ex McGeady isn't in this squad but is still paid. We can offer players the low wage for L1 players with huge incentives like goal bonuses oer promotion bonus for this or next season. We can also loan players paying a loan fee instead of wages. Loads of ways around the ruling, just need the will and finance to do it.
