Yeah I can kinda see it as so much money in the premier leagueNo one will buy a league one club in the current climate. The fact we have a massive stadium and huge potential is irrelevant given the competition we are playing in may not even fulfill its season (though people said a handful of clubs would already be out of business by now). Donald probably reads this board and laughs that we think this talk of a takeover is serious.
The government have a problem with football I think. Perhaps the Marcus Rashford campaign has rubbed them up the wrong way. They are saying the PL need to sort it but have blown billions on giving dodgy contracts to their grubby mates.
Yeah I can kinda see it as so much money in the premier league
but at same time as I say there no other industry where the top companies are being forced to finance the lower ones
but again be happy to see them do it to prevent clubs going bust
Stan Laurels sister lived next door to me great auntie next to Roker ParkThey were marra. Never gets old.
Yes I see that point too so long as we stay away from feeder club and b sides bullshit the big boys tried to force throughFootball is far from a normal industry though. In most sectors, you try to monopolise as much as you're allowed. Football needs a much larger number of clubs to sustain a league structure that allows players to develop their potential to the best of their ability. Huge profits are not the normal aim, though a trading surplus to fund transfers is desirable.
Phone the Samaritans,my god what rubbishPresuming the virus called it a day tomorrow, the economic outlook isn’t good. Brexit and the suppression of the economy will lead to millions losing their jobs, regions like this will be hit the hardest. It’s going to be a Rocky few years even if the SOL could be full in a few months time. Many fans of working age may not be able to afford it, and in this league we risk losing a generation of fans. Would like to hope I’m wrong.
It's the point they get to have a proper look at the books and then run a mile isn't it?That key word exclusivity has popped up again. They really do like using that word, I reckon it must be secret code for something, don't know what but it must be code for something like this is all bollocks.
Wheres that from mateThat key word exclusivity has popped up again. They really do like using that word, I reckon it must be secret code for something, don't know what but it must be code for something like this is all bollocks.
But someone is on the verge of investing in a league one club in the current climate. No one will buy a league one club in the current climate. And the government do have a valid point. The bailout across the whole of the EFL is expected to be in the region of £300m. As one club, Chelsea, alone spent over £200m last summer...No one will buy a league one club in the current climate. So that's about 15m per EPL Club,? the amount Ozil is being paid by ArsenalAnd the government do have a valid point. The bailout across the whole of the EFL is expected to be in the region of £300m. As one club, Chelsea, alone spent over £200m last summer...
Just to put it into a bit of perspective.
And it would appear there's another buyer in the wings. Plus madman Storey. But someone is on the verge of investing in a league one club in the current climate.
