Scowen was well liked at QPR, does he stand out in league one? I like him a lot as it happens but not a massive step up.

Yes we would need to strengthen, but the gap isn't as big as some make out I think. Boro were awful last season, get a half decent manager and they are talking about playoffs.

With a good manager we would be ok... I hope.

Hopefully mate. I look at Boros team and I think Woodgate held them back. They have some good players.

I really think that this squad would go down comfortably bottom though.

Its only if we take the extra grant available to clubs that are really struggling. I dont think we will take it

I genuinely hate to say "I told you so", but how this has turned out is the precise reason why I couldn't get carried away a few weeks ago when the takeover was "a done deal".
