Yeah, noticed yesterday but it was a whirlwind yesterday and it got bypassed. He's getting something from somewhere, and different to anyone else.
Same as a poster on here who i was pm'ing about Flamini. 1 reply then jack shit!i asked him what he knew earlier but he’s saying nowt![]()
..i think i know what you're getting at??@Plank do you like slugs by any chance?![]()
On the flip side you could argue that a cheap appointment will.just highlight that absolutely nothing fundamental is going to change as a result of this "takeover". It also possibly suggests that donald is still dictating things to a degree which just isn't an option for me.I'm alright with Johnson tbh. The critical thing is that a SpD is brought in and that they get their man. Lets face it, a young manager who has had a team around the top half of the league above isn't too bad a shout on the face of it. Wouldn't necessarily be my choice but the reality is that any new manager is highly likely to be gone within 18 months regardless. So let's not lose our shit over this one.
There's very little chance of Johnson being a cheap appointment. It all depends on who is doing the hiring. There's no real evidence that it's Donald hiring as things stand. Indeed people who may well have heard stuff indicate the exact opposite. On the flip side you could argue that a cheap appointment will.just highlight that absolutely nothing fundamental is going to change as a result of this "takeover". All I've read is Rodwell is part of the process. What you heard? There's very little chance of Johnson being a cheap appointment. It all depends on who is doing the hiring. Couple of people who get snippets are indicating on here that it's very much a new regime decision. Usual caveats apply but they're generally people who don't bullshit for the sake of itAll I've read is Rodwell is part of the process. What you heard?
Well don’t come on celebrating when it’s done.I have no idea on what basis anyone has any faith in this takeover m
Best way to unite the fanbase is via results mind. With the stadium empty there's a fairly unique opportunity for even a less-fancied candidate to get fans onsideI'm in no hurry for us to appoint a new gaffer.
I'd much rather the takeover is confirmed first and then the new owners can have their say in who we appoint.
I was thinking the sacking of Parkinson meant that the takeover was imminent, similarly to when Short bladdered Coleman before The Chancer took over.
I'm not so sure now. Whatever it is that's going on behind the scenes I really hope it's not been fucked up in a typical spectacular Sunderland failure. Won't hold me breath like.
If they appoint another dullard now it will be a disaster.
There's not many realistic candidates that will unite the fan base and this is a big worry. Gotta hit the ground running and try and turn around the fortunes of this once great football club. Big ask but not an impossible task. Fingers crossed and that.
Hacked off with refreshing pages hundreds of times today. What will be will be. Let it be!
If it is the new owners then they need to come out sooner rather than later and announce the takeover, DoF model for the Club or not.. At the minute its appears that the Chancers in Chief, his sidekick and Ridwell are calling all the shots. If its Dreyfus and Sartori then let everyone know who the DoF is..Couple of people who get snippets are indicating on here that it's very much a new regime decision. Precisely the problem
There is a points system on imported labour. BREXIT.

I feel very much the same mate. I also renewed, but there (potentially continued) presence is a huge issue for me.If Donald or Methven are still calling the shots or have a significant say on matters moving forward after their catastrophic failure and lies that's me done.
I renewed in the fear the club could go, and hopefully getting back to the SoL soon but the way these tossers have lied and tret people at the football club while selling our future for a pittance on flogging academy players, I'm not putting another penny in.
