Johnson, the Cowleys and the Poyet false alarm fiasco don't seem like Brave New World moves.

I realise Donald just wants his money but any extension to his time here just isn't tenable.

Not for me mate.
I'd rather us take our time and get the right man. That's the most important thing in my opinion.

Hmmm. I'm not sure i agree regarding Johnson mate.

Regarding donald and methven its being suggested that they will retain a minority holding. Their absent chum sartori will allegedly increase his.

No matter what they say id find it exceptionally hard to believe they arent involved to some degree. And even if they're not it would really grate that they retain a percentage of club ownership for me. Particularly if we continue to struggle.

I hate what they have done and being able to reconnect to the club is going to be almost impossible for many if they are still there.

I was thinking the sacking of Parkinson meant that the takeover was imminent, similarly to when Short bladdered Coleman before The Chancer took over.
I'm not so sure now. Whatever it is that's going on behind the scenes I really hope it's not been fucked up in a typical spectacular Sunderland failure. Won't hold me breath like.
If they appoint another dullard now it will be a disaster.
There's not many realistic candidates that will unite the fan base and this is a big worry. Gotta hit the ground running and try and turn around the fortunes of this once great football club. Big ask but not an impossible task. Fingers crossed and that.

I'd rephrase that a little. I am in a hurry for the new regime to take over and have a clear out - and appoint a new manager. It has to be their man - a Chuckle Brothers appointment now would not be in our interests .

You say this. But the candidates aren’t going to change anytime soon, Cowley johnson cook etc will all be in the mix now and in 3 weeks time for example

I do see your point if it’s a case of wanting someone in particular but that not the case

Aye fair point. We all want Donald and co to have as little input as possible, preferably none.
Gotta be some decent news soon. Busy Christmas period could define our season.

Donald and Methven are not going they have just had to source additional finance as the business is leaking cash.

Giving up equity is their only option. No bank would touch them.

If it is one of the 3 you've mentioned it would be a very underwhelming appointment. I'm hoping we can do a lot better. Maybe got the old rose tinted glasses on.

Sick as fuck with it all and honestly bored with the whole circus now.

It's just more smoke and mirrors, miss-information and rumour being leaked from someone at the club around the "takeover" and who will actually be calling the shots.

This then fuels more bullshit from supposed ITKs on social media and jornos looking for clicks.

Meanwhile the club continues to fall further behind and the possibility of another season in this shite league grows.

No one seems to be putting the pressure on the club and asking the right questions around what direction we are actually going in here.

And this is ultimately going to be a huge problem for the club and the support.

We're not going to get the fresh start we so desperately need. They are toxic in the eyes of a huge proportion of our support base.

Nah I’m sorry, I’m back in the “no takeover” camp now. It’s like the RR announcement was something they had “leaked” to them given RAWA pushing the club for an update. Keeps them quiet again for another 3 weeks before they can think of some shit to come up with and another dosser they can appoint as manager.

I don’t think he had a choice. He was holding few aces in the negotiation. He is desperate for the cash injection otherwise he risks losing the lot.

I am willing to bet the investors have not had to pay a lot for their equity share too.

Can't believe how inept the clowns running this club are, between their greed and inability to get any decision right including doing the decent think and walking away, the club and fans continues to suffer.
