AyeSurely Parkinson going gives you an idea mate?
Very close. Part of the process. First change implemented. Now for the fun.
I don’t know who will have what title but the two of em still want to swan around in directors boxes marra. THAT and a potential windfall if/when we make it back to the PL are why they want to retain a %. It may not happen like that but it’s what they’re both after. The suggestion is that the SD will be de facto chairman with a CEO reporting. It's more akin to an NFL set up, where football people run the show with admin working for them.
Picked a nice week to have time off hopefully![]()
Thank the f***ing lord!!!
The calibre of folk in the running for interviews for the managers job might give us an indication of whether these fellas mean business or not.
It's a great day, it's a beautiful day..
Boom. There is the first step change
The club statement says that the board will now start the process to find a replacement.Who says there'll be interviews? For all we know, they've already happened.

Or a foot in the door of five clubs.Do we know he is going to be putting substantial money in? Maybe it’s a chance for him to get involved in running football relatively cheaply.

SAFC.
Marseilles. 6% owned by his mam.
Standard Liege. Tiny % owned by his mam.
Bologna. Owned by business associate of his family and Sartori.
River Plate (uru). Already linked to buy out.
Plus Sartoris family Monaco connections.
Be a canny preseason tournament holiday in the south of france/northern Italy that.
You positive about it all then mate? Any idea on the next manager/sporting director?Very close. Part of the process. First change implemented. Now for the fun.
Well, they have to say that. Doesn't mean that the identity of the new man isn't known already.
Yes Im aware their a bunch of lying shithouses running the club. The point stands, the new appointment needs to be the right man and someone who has demonstrated that very recently.
Would the rich yanks not get the club if they ran out of money?Sunderland has had so many false dawns and I can understand why there is so much caution with our fans until the deal goes through, but I cannot understand the negativity over it. There are not many Billionaires out there who have the footballing credentials of our potential new owner who would take a punt with Sunderland. I would have preferred for SD and CM to move on but the only reason they will what to keep their shares is because they believe and will want SAFC to become a success in the future even if for them it maybe purely for financial gain.
I am still ecstatic that we have families involved with SAFC that are not just Billionaires but have amazing football connection. When this deal goes through all the bitching should stop and we should get fully behind the new owners. We must think of what we have gained and not about a couple of minority shareholders. Although our new owner inherited his wealth, he will have been extremely well groomed in business and to think he will be railroaded by SD and CM is ridiculous.
Whatever happened to “ when the fans no longer want me then I’ll go” or words to that effect from Donald?I don’t know who will have what title but the two of em still want to swan around in directors boxes marra. THAT and a potential windfall if/when we make it back to the PL are why they want to retain a %. It may not happen like that but it’s what they’re both after.
Methven wants the contacts n kudos as he fancies a future as a football mover n shaker. Donald can’t go back to Eastleigh looking a failure. He’ll keep selling his % until after a one season tour of the PL directors boxes then they’ll both be gone. Sooner if Oxford or another feasible come up for grabs.

So it’s a bit like getting a divorce but letting your lass still live in the same house? We won't see Donald in an acting capacity again. Him hanging on to some shares is irrelevant.
