Takeover in trouble

Minutes are supposed to be a record of what was said, taken by someone at a meeting, and then agreed by the parties.

My concern is that from what you've said about five different groups have been happy with the minutes for the last fortnight. Surely they can't still be that inaccurate now in the hands of the last group? How many changes can be needed at this stage?

Minor changes in wording - the thrust of the comments is as in the meeting. Aimed mainly at readability and layman-friendliness.

Yes, they can.

Depends on how good the minute taker is and if they have recorded what was said accurately

It's more a question of the club's side needing to come from the club, and not hearsay from the supporters side. Also, it's important that all the groups are seen as equals. That means nothing is said about the minutes until they're out.
I'm not saying this to try and get you to open up about things, but can I just point out that Hearsay is defined as A written or oral statement made otherwise than by a witness giving their own first-hand evidence which is tendered as evidence of the matters stated and relied on to prove the truth of the matters stated.

If you are describing things that you have witnessed then that isn't hearsay.

You've missed the point. Almost everyone (else) who was there seems to have agreed a fortnight ago that the minutes were an accurate representation of what was said.

Come what may, I don't think it's unreasonable to say that three weeks is too long a delay in the circumstances.

Even if we end up in League One after parachute payments cease, with our income from attendances etc and the right management we should still be able to gain promotion.

Maybe so, I don't disagree. Fact is though, at this moment in time, they seem very happy that we might be able to break even this season (not including transfers that we might make). If we don't go up we'll be about £12m worse off next season. They said about breaking even when they knew Matthews would be going. Presumably Cattermole wasn't included in that, so that might be about £1.5m saved, when Oviedo goes that might be similar again. That would still leave us making a £9m loss which I can only see being chipped away at by getting rid of anyone on decent wages and selling anyone we can. At that point crowds drop, so that adds to the problem. We should be capable of doing it but it looks like there would be a lot more upheaval and potentially an extended stay in this league first.

Have you taken the time to look into it?

He literally loaned Madrox (himself effectively) £9.6m to pay off his own debt to Short, then Short reduced that debt to £7m. As yet, we know nothing about the terms of that loan, any repayment schedule, or what happened to the £2.6m extra. If you think this is normal and we should just shut up and tow the line, you're going to be in for a rude awakening one day.

And I have some magic beans for you.

Seems a strange thing to do when he doesn't pay himself anything. If he wants to take money pout the club why not just legitimately pay himself it and stop all this strange behaviour?

That's a little pedantic. I don't want to be seen as reporting the club's words and potentially misquoting or unintentionally putting my own interpretation in as if it was their words. It's better if the club's words are clearly seen to come from the club.

No, you have missed my point, I simply commented that one of the factors of any delay is the accuracy of the minute taker, you chose to read something else into that. As it happens I agree that the minutes seems to be taking an unacceptable amount of time to be published, but there could be many reasons for that which we are not privy to and speculating is pointless.
