Some of youse need to go for an induction up the road, you'd fit right in with them lot with a bed sheet and a bouycoutt and a horse's mouth to hit

Hobson's choice really. Fail this season and I doubt he'll own a viable investment so he can't let anything get in the way of ensuring we go up. It's not an expensive league to wheel and deal in and the three clubs who went up the season before last all made losses over £6m for the season. He may need to borrow a bit to achieve his aims but he can't allow this proposed takeover to derail preparations.

Some new poster started posting yesterday and was adamant about this. Some very worrying things are being said at the minute
 
I'll be more disappointed if we don't get John Park in than the investment. The whole footballing department needs an overhaul. We can still do that without the investment if Donald is telling us the truth about finances. If we don't then any investment is pointless because we will just be making the same mistakes.

Of course you're right. Not sure why some are trying to pretend the proposed deal wouldn't be a take over. Currently the club is ran by Donald, Methven and Sartori. If the details we've heard are correct, next season the club would be majority owned by someone else, with them as minority shareholders. So they'd have taken over majority control. So a take over. If Donald was left with 0.1% would it still not be a takeover because Donald is still involved? Of course not. If overall control of a club is transferred to a new individual/ group it's been taken over
