Aye. Coulda sworn I was in Parsnip when I saw the thread title.That blockade in the Irish Sea by American ships - that never really happened did it?
Apparently a few ships got in and caused a bit of bother during the War of Independence, but I can't see owt relating to the War of 1812.

Spot on, it appears to be a growing problem in BBC dramas. On top of that, way to dark, and the pace makes Sunderland s midfield look rapid. Wish i could bin BBC, Saturday night, and Taboo and MOTD both unwatchable .
