A bit of a frustrating watch. No redeeming characters and a touch slow paced, hints of secrets yet to be revealed - such as the young lad's mother (though we can probably guess). Hardy is a bit reminiscent of Oliver Reed's Bill Sikes, I thought. All a bit mad really but Hardy is compelling and I'll continue to watch.

Spot on - he's desperate to be Ollie I reckon.

The whole 'taboo' bit has to be him shagging his half sister and that bairn being their own.

Isn't Ridley Scott about 80 now? He still seems to churn stuff out faster than people half his age.
