Sort of see where you’re coming from with that, but the reason for that is probably also occasions like that go hand in hand with a couple of drinks which rules out a breakfast. I love going out for breakfast and love a full English. Wish I did it more tbh.

North at Seaburn is probably the best breakfast out I’ve had.
Good ,I can eat one no problem but they aren't ideal to eat a lot of . If I didn't work and had loads of money I may do the same or be dead

I think that is an old attitude that younger people are doing away with. It is an occasion now and why can't it be?
Has been in other countries since for ever and is coming in here now.

Years ago you had to find a greasy spoon for a breakfast but everywhere does them now such is their popularity. I like a full english now and again but prefer eggs benedict etc these days. A bit avo included. Lovely.
5 days a week you're going to work though
Are we talking weekends? Love lazing as I wake ,coffee, laze , toast ,bit bacon on laze etc
You telling me youngsuns are going for FE ? My sons lot don't. They don't get up til pm

When I lived in Sydney it was very much a thing with the glamourous eastern suburbs folk. They'd meet for a fitness class at 6am. Then breakfast in a local cafe before getting the bus to work in the city. Cafes were busy from opening at 7am.

Less so here though you might get a bit of that in that there London or the south coast. For me no it's just a weekend thing and it's rare now as kids don't want to be dragged out for breakfast. But if the kids are off anywhere me and the missus will head for breakfast somewhere.

I'd I had a brekkie like in the pics you see that would give me til 9pm with a sandwich

I'd imagine tonight will be quiet given the weather but with SAFC at home and plenty of live music tomorrow will be busy.

Was gonna go to Diego's for the gig but half the back of the house and blown off so I've had to sort that instead.

I reckon it will have been well attended

Spot on, I’ve lived in Sydney and found the same, was a big of an eye opener

This is happening with younger folk in London too, drinking less and more into this type of thing.

It sold out. The capacity is 80 or 90 which when full must be rammed like.
Went to 3 Stories for a quick bottle of Double Maxim (6 pund ffs) then walked over to the Sheepfolds for pre-match drinkies. Was somehow colder inside the tented off bit than outside.
Had a PROPA pie (mince) with mash and roast taties. Was lusherooney. Proper filled me for the day mind so had to move onto wine. Back to Diego's for a couple post match, would have stayed for the quiz but me pal had to get home. One of my favourite pubs in town. Also so Thewper1 with I think his dad and daughter in there. Nice to see 3 generations out enjoying themselves.
