Support our City Centre - Sunderland

Quiet in the city centre this afternoon. Did my bit though by supporting it as much as I could today

Good on ya.

The city centre pubs were busy yesterday: 3 Stories Keel Tavern Peacock Engine Room and the Dun Cow.

I was out briefly today for Sunday lunch at the 3 Stories it was very enjoyable food was lovely staff efficient and friendly together with cracking Guinness.

Tuesday should be busy where places are showing the match.

Sunderland is the place to be.

😎

Class stuff mate.

It was good to see Sea glass cafe busy when I walked past. Spent Grain was also busy.

Toughest time of the year so any support to the city centre is much welcomed

Dont know what it is but just cant get away with going into the City Centre for drinks and food.

I ve tried but just dont enjoy it

I know people who previously wouldn’t have bothered with Sunderland but get themselves through to eat and drink now. It’s improved massively recently and there’s plenty good options, don’t know how anyone couldn’t enjoy it or not feel comfortable as long as you avoided Park Lane or Holmeside.

knew I d get the predictable shite for this but its just the way I feel..rest of family love it
Strange because in the 80s it was my place to go...Fusion,Finos etc were brilliant...but now I just dont feel comfortable there

Enfes Shandiz Gatsbys & Port of Call are good for food but I take your point.
