Ship Isis - Moti Raj - Ship Isis last night. Both excellent, and very busy, atmosphere was class in both. Food in Moti was absolutely lusheroony, the madras was piping hot and full of heat.
Peacock for lunch today, Deptford Bank for a pint later.

The Peacock's Sunday lunch is quality.

Kids can eat free if accompanied by their parents in the 3 Stories pub today if they can produce evidence that they are going to the woman's SAFC match today.

Got a cracker lined up for Saturday.

Out with the wife and in laws - plans subject to slight change.

Meal in Knowledge.

Walk up to Bridge Hotel Vaults
Possible detour to Diego’s if women allow
Three Stories
Keel Tavern
The Peacock

Into the Fire Station for Hue & Cry.
Ended up getting outvoted on certain stops but still had a cracking day out.

Knowledge was empty unfortunately but food was superb as always. Had the chicken in Gorgonzola. Always find the staff in there really nice and incredibly knowledgeable about the food and wines.

Into the Bridge Hotel Vaults. Had the Shangri-La. Very nice. Was nice and busy but not heaving.

Three Stories - very busy. No issues getting served. Tried the Guinness for the first time in there. Wasn’t great. Expected better with Irish owners.

This is when I started to get overruled. Instead of continuing up the High Street to Keel Square area, we went to Chaplins instead. Busy as always but got a nice seat to catch a bit of the rugby.

Across to MOD. Full in there. Busiest I’ve ever seen it.

Then aye, off to the Fire Station for Hue & Cry. Sold out, and bars in there and the Engine Rooms were heaving. Success.

Hue & Cry had nothing but positive words when talking about Sunderland and the venue itself.

Then Bakers Oven for some bait to take home. Chicken Curry and Chips with a big sausage, oh matron.

Few more in the house = a tad rough today. Never mind.

Mince and dumplings with chips are my food of choice from there after a skinful. Carbo overload

Engine Room
Dun cow
Fitzys
Chaplins
Cooper rose
Yesterday post match
Good crack ,good beer
Little drama in cooper from an arsey barmaid delivering drinks to a table and I was suddenly causing an obstruction after being in 45 minutes .
Minute later boy with radio walks up and starts on me
So he got short shift as we weren't causing any obstruction had been there from the start without issue and were on our 3rd round ,7 of us out .

Sounds like a group of lads that necked 3 pints in 45 minutes got abusive towards the bar staff ;)

I very rarely get in Cooper Rose thankfully.

Surely the Stadium car park is big enough for everyone? Or is it a case of many people not being aware of it being so close and free?

The footbridge should really help out for busy days.
Need to advertise the sol car park better
The construction work will start and put people off going if car parking is inconvenient
The sooner the bridge opens the better

It’s was extremely quiet in the bars on Friday night

I think this was part of the battle that people didn't realise and the roads are a bit of a mess with all of the demolitions and works going on. Not be long and sure it'll improvw once they open roads and the bridge like you say.
