That chance was a sitter though and it just seemed a lazy, half ared wffort

Aye OK if been tagged into a few  That was appalling. I've always maintained that things can change quickly and any Sunderland manager in this league is only 3 or 4 games from the sack. I stand by that sacking him before today was wrong and you cant go sacking managers with the points haul he has had this season and since January. However that result changes things - I don't think he will be sacked with immediate effect but if we don't win our two tough away games which will coincide with the takeover I would imagine he will be on his way.
Honest assessment.👍

Probably sums it up for me.

Thing about Parky is the football is so dire, that as soon as the results turn he is rightly vulnerable.

Idiot. We were beaten by a team who didn't touch the ball for the last 50minutes of the game apart from the penalty, and a goalkeeper playing out of his skin. I despair at the stupidity of our fans at time. Am I happy? No
Do I think Parkinson should go? Yes.
But at times I have no idea what some of you watch.
Sorry but did you watch the match?

Fully deserved win and they should have won by more.

he won't ever be sacked like, problem with this type of percentages manager is that we will probs win a few now, whilst playing dross, and he will stay in the job

Thats the way I see it anyway

You make some fair points but many will see it as defending the manager.
Fair enough.

I can't imagine one safc fan wanted PP when we got him in.

I doubt there are many that want him now.

Realistically SD isn't going to get rid now. IF the takeover happens, it'll be a few weeks off at least, so for now PP is here to stay.

That should be it for Parkinson. Those two lucky wins over Ipswich and Gillingham totally papered over the cracks.

That was an absolute disgrace today

Parkinson out!!!

I think a lot of haters are going to be revelling in their anger tonight, feeling happy and justified that we lost.

Is that what you meant?
Mate Im classed as a happy clapper, We were awful and Im gutted. 5 defenders and 3 defensive midfielders at home against a team who hadnt won a league game away from home in a year.

We cant defend them tactics or performances from players who dont look interested. In the case of Graham and Maguire the weight they are carrying is shameful for professional sportsman.

I wish I could defend them but I cant.

There are also a lot of people who saw this coming but were told by a handful of posters that they were talking nonsense. This comes as no surprise to most fans with an ounce of analytical sense, unfortunately.
