*~*~* Sunderland v Hull match thread *~*~*

Forwards will rarely score if they are isolated 30 yards from a packed midfield with their backs to goal and defenders all up around them. It is a joke tactic….. defenders love that shit.
We had 15 shots tonight, not 1 from Rusyn, if other players can get into shooting positions why can’t he?
Oh yes let’s blame Patterson due to that wank backpass
Patterson should have punched it out for a throw like.

If Bellingham starts the next game then I’m convinced he has something in his contract to say he has to start every game.

It’s like playing with 10 men at times.

Results haven’t improved and if anything the football has got worse/same issues persist. What has been the point of sacking Mowbray?

We went for daring to complain, rather than performance.
Absolutely no point in sacking Mowbray at all.

Mowbray wasn't a bad coach, just probably not able to take us to the next level.

This new lad, however looks perfectly capable of taking us BACK several levels. Sort it out, KLD.
Jurgen klopp couldn’t take us to the next level with this crop of players.

We were in control for long periods of the game but the final ball was abysmal and couldn't create a clear chance. There is no plan when we get the ball in the box which is very frustrating.

At halftime I felt like the game had 0-0 written all over it and they got lucky with the goal. It shouldn't have been a corner notwithstanding the deflection.

We might have won. They were indeed lucky.

But if we play with such a lack of intensity and a lack of desire. a tactic to play slowly and (haha) patiently - then we will struggle to score and are open to a deflected goal or a ref error.

It's down to us and our newfound walking football not down to bad luck
It happens far too often for it to be lucky. Other teams have sussed how to play against us.

According to my app had one attempt or the 15. Most our shots were blocked or from miles out

Stewart and Simms got 17 goals combined. The problem is that we have shit strikers. A good striker would score in this team.
No he wouldn’t we don’t create chances, this team is now programmed to play without a striker, that’s the issue

We play across or backwards it’s easy to defend against

He smiled at the interviewer and shook his hand, like saying thanks for not asking those awkward questions, like why did you have your hands in your pockets for 70 mins.
Instead you could have rolled up your sleeves made early changes, when they were on 5 yellows, and screamed your lungs out with passion,so the poor people who have wasted their wages, could see you give a shlt.
Speak man calls all the shots at this club make no bones about it
Anyway update on my homeless cat,I had a change of heart, and decided the get a goldfish.
Rest well young men we will be the backbone of this club, when people like Ian fails,we shall march forward, and never give in.
I know it's heartbreaking at the moment for us all,but rest assured if any of you are struggling mentally,my aunt Polly makes peanut and black pudding muffins, they are literally to die for.
You are all welcome to her house next sunday.peace and love to you all.
Weirdly I love and understand every word of this.

He’s rubbish man
Let’s be honest
I thought he did well tonight. I thought he defended well and was possibly our most incisive passer of the ball until that moment - and still a bad linesman decision and a very lucky deflection less and we’d have had a clean sheet. I think until that goal (I know) we defended better than last week.
