Back in the day a new signing would be straight into the team. used to be one of the exciting things watching the lads..gave people some instant hope. Football now, it's almost always put him in the substitutes and bringing him on late in the game..all careful shit. As though it might upset the system etc. Well after getting beat 6-0 the game before you'd think upsetting that balance ASAP would be a smart thing to do.
