Just reading Embo lost the ball 19 times
Didn't realise he touched it that many times tbh.
I'm more livid at this than the 6 nil tbh. What's the point in sacking a manager and then picking the same players?
TBF It's not a bad idea to pick the same team - they have a point to prove. Unfortunately, they just proved the point that they're knackers.

"Get in their faces for the first 30 minutes and you will score one or more as they are weak under pressure in defence and weak in midfield" That's all other teams have to do.

Looking forward to the U-turn in form under new management.

No changes?

Who the fuck looked at that rubbish and thought "same again lads"

f***ing idiocy
It was my first thought when waking up this morning, we paid good money at this level for a good midfield player to sit him on the bench and play the team that had no heart the week before, shocking

When I said Burge was the sole reason we didn’t go up I was being sarcastic. He was more than good enough last year. I’d take Burge over Hoffmann any day.

Yeah me too, think we've got wires crossed with my reply. It got (or gets)to the point people actually believe Burge or Gooch are the main reasons for poor performances and its true in neither case. It then becomes anyone but Burge/Gooch as it builds up in the fan base and its not improved with Burge out and it's never improved with Gooch out, over the last three seasons its generally got worse with Gooch out as we then don't have any sort of pace in the attack.

Burge has been castigated for any small hint of an error this season, including one where he threw it out and it was intercepted and the players then had 6 touches before they scored. Hoffman has been questionable much of the time and directly caused us problems being pinned, sloppy distribution and being quite weak, even shots within reach he's not got to and he's barely had criticism.
must be something wrong with my TV then

He wasn't a great attacking influence going forward by any means. But there were a few occasions he was strong on the ball, he picked up decent positons and moved the ball on. He's exactly what we need in central midfield at the moment.

Yesterday could and should have been a turning point.

Free of the previous managers influence and with new signings available it should have been a statement of intent.

Unfortunately it was - telling us that we were 'taking our time to draw up a suitable shortlist' and putting out virtually the same team with the same instructions as last week - showed either how embedded Johnson’s ideas are, or that they weren't his at all and he was a symptom of the problems.

Yesterday should be a line in the sand, the new signings and a new coach with the ability to set up and organise a competent defence and get the best out of our attackers should be given a chance.

If they're not?
If we get 'more of the same'?

I fear for us because it means that Speakman and his backroom team have a complete grip on the set up, organisation and tactics of the first team - and they think they're doing it right?

I listened to it on the radio but someone on here watching the stream said that Proctor was giving Defoe instructions before his introduction?
Is this how deluded they are in 'group think'?!

A man most famous for scoring 2 own goals in 5 minutes telling Jermaine Defoe which goal he should score in?
