Sunderland Everton special bond ?

Have we developed a shared bond ? It almost feels like we have, particularly after their fantastic support of Bradley Lowery. They have also been coincidently accommodating with us in recent seasons in us taking vital points from them when we have really really needed it eg that game last season, the 2-0 at Goodison w!hen Danny Graham scored ( surely something dodgy going on there ) the year beforee. Then theres the 1-0 at the Sol under Dicanio, maybes even the Boxing day win for us there in 2013 when Tim Howard got sent off
I am not saying they have given us those points but perhaps lady luck or whatever other powers that be will smile on us again tomorrow and we will leave Goodison with another critical 3 points !

That bond wasn't much in evidence when some of us were chased all the way back to Liverpool Lime Street after Everton relegated us in 77.

However, times moves on and we have some very good Evertonian posters on here and our clubs have a lot in common. Hopefully that will continue into next season.

Yep I am glad those hooligan days of the 70s and 80s seem to have gone and that football fans seem to be able to respect other clubs and their supporters more these days. Again the Bradley Lowery situation is a great example of this

Everton tried to give us the the game on a Thursday night after they had just been playing on Monday night in 1977 . We weren't good enough to take it. The rest is history as Jimmy Hills Coventry coasting 2-0, drew with Bristol City to relegate us after their late kick off.
