I dont think theres no chance. He could very well be replaced if they have someone that they think will be better. But its stupid to say it depends on us getting into Europe.

For what its worth i hope he stays
 

I can't see him going to a "super club" yet. He's too pragmatic, and they all obsess over playing style.

In England Id say Everton or Villa is maybe his current ceiling in terms of who may consider him. I could also see a top French or Italian club being interested but right now our finances will blow most of those away.

If he has another solid season with us to cement his Premier League ability then we may struggle to hold him.

I have said it before Doctor le Bris is an academic . He's been developing his style of coaching and the environment he wants to build a successful team in for years . He has met up with a like minded owner who has a like minded group of people around him, There's nothing more than a top bloke like Regis wants than an opportunity to fully test his theories out. He knows he is being given a rare opportunity to do that at SAFC.

A so called "super club" would expect him to conform to their way of doing things if he's successful at a Club like that - well he would just be in one of a long line of managers who's won trophies with them. If stays with us and turns a pigs ear in to a silk purse that would really be an achievement.
 
Cant see RLB leaving for any club that doesnt have a project. Chelsea are definately one of those clubs. All they do is hoover up a lot of generally young talent and hope something works out.
Regis would find out how unique we are too should he leave......Roy Keane, Poyet even Allerdyce will testify to that

Tbf even if the club were thinking of replacing RLB, it would make sense for them to completely deny it via Romano etc at this point. Wouldn’t want to mess up the end of the season by introducing any uncertainty.

I don’t think we’re seriously considering that, it’s just we’re making contingency plans if Le Bris wanted to move or gets poached.

Makes a lot more sense than just having no plan.

Said he acknowledged the local media have rubbished it but maintains he has good information that if we don’t qualify for Europe, replacing RLB is on the table (he’s not saying it’s going to happen, but that they will consider it).

How about a 3 or 5 year contract on double his current wage ( at least ), à big sign on fee, and living in one of the great cities in the world ( whether you care to admit it or not )
