From our transfer dealings and indeed managerial appointments you can see the club are looking at possible replacements for anyone and everyone and indeed have lists of people ranked in order of preference for them.

Just one example is the speed at which we made bid after bid until we landed a goalkeeper (who was the third person approached) in the close season is a great example of this.

This scouting, monitoring and prioritising of people for all key positions is a very different thing to what Alex Crook said - which was that his position next season was dependent upon finishing in a European position.

That has been shown to be a "crock of shit".

I agree we are doing lists it’s just good business to have a list of players and managers based on league positions. That list is changing all the time both player targets and managers based targets.

I’m choosing to believe this is all way off the mark and somebody(s) stirring the pot because it would be insanity of the highest order. I’d be dead against if we were just set for survival and not much more, never mind the season we’ve had and what else he’s done so far while here.
 
If I had to guess: some agent has tried to unsettle Le Bris with the intention of selling him to Chelsea. Unsurprisingly that hairbrained idea hasn't worked.
