Sunderland AFC U21s

You'd be disappointed if we couldn't beat their youth as I imagine a lot of them have either moved on or moved up to the first team when they were in administration.

Academies aren't all that tbh. A young Silky under 15's beat Donacaster Academy 22-0 yesterday🤷‍♂️

..if only i had the time....Sunderland aren't very obvious at any games. They have missed out on a boat load of players across our region and from Silky. Missed out on a cracking keeper who has now signed for Liverpool. He was on our books a while back but Sunderland got rid. I won't go into details bit it was shit from our end. They tried to get him back once they got wind he was going to Liverpool, they weren't interested. We need to get our scouts out and about more in our region. Boro are all over the scene.

Haven't that age group been in the club to play the academy quite a bit or was that when they were a younger age group? 15s not the strongest age group at safc. I know of the keeper, heard we were interested once Liverpool came in. Good luck to him.

Keeper was on our books a while back. They play loads of academies mate, go all over the country. They got lads playing for them who Boro have released. Some cracking players.

Just going back to the 22-0 thing. Donnys full academy side? 15s? That's mental to be pumped by a boys club like that.

The whole academy and scouting was stripped back to its bare bones by Dick and Dom. The place was a mess. It may take a while yet to fix it.

It was the same before they came. Always Boro and Newcastle scouts about. Hardly ever see/seen Sunderland.
