Sunderland AFC U21s

I've noticed the u21s have a friendly on Friday v Sheff Utd.

I know the 1st team are staying down south but I wonder if it would be a good opportunity to give Ba and Michut a taste English football

English football in a technically focused u21s game which is nothing like "real mens football"? Theyll learn more training with the first team.

Why isnt the club putting info out? I thought they said at the RAWA meeting they were going to improve it? Or did all the budget go into opening the ticket office? I may well have imagined they said that, @Guinness Guzzler was that an item?
It’s not amazing but it’s been better this season. Being honest I’m not fussed that they haven’t reported on a behind closed doors friendly

That's it, for me behind closed doors generally means trying something different. I have no idea who played just heard the score yesterday.

As others have mentioned I expect the fact that it was a friendly meant it wasn't covered to the same extent but it is still pretty poor when there's nothing at all about it! I was glad to see the recent 3-3 being streamed (albeit I was at the game) and hopefully they'll continue to make a decent number of the games available, but it's definitely worth passing on that people would like to at least get basic info about friendlies

Just dont let the supporters have any info at all, thats not good at all
They have. Was articles around the Canada trip, bits on the 18s going to Holland, a match stream. Some games have been live tweeted and a new academy twitter account. It’s not perfect and it needs to be better but it’s an improvement
