He didn't dismantle the team. They were sold from under him and he wasn't given the proceeds.

The best job he did for us was trimming the squad from the 52 players on long term, high wage contracts that was left by Keane. It was out of control and you could argue that we never actually recovered from it. Slow death anarl.

That promotion push he had at WBA was epic. Give over man and his best mate Shearer should be telling him it’s
time to give up and just enjoy the money he’s made out of the game.
