He doesn't have to spend all day in the dark mourning while he grieves like.
I know, didn't mean it as a criticism. He had a couple of injuries last year, we've got 17 test coming up including India and Australia so I'm sure he'd have been tested for this series regardless of his dad.

Not sure how much that has to do with it, he seems to be spending all of his time play Call of Duty on twitch

Can't expect him to be in sack-cloth and Ashes, tearing his hair out and wailing. People handle grief differently.

When I've had difficult episodes in my life, I've found gaming helped keep my mind healthy and in the present.

See above mate

England = Sunderland for making things difficult, always full of fun (?) and nerves. Imagine if they both won things without the drama 🤷‍♂️🙄
Where's the fun in that? Would the Headingley test Vs the Aussies have been so good if we'd cruised there by 8 wickets?

Inexperienced openers having no idea how to play spin on the subcontinent.
Albeit Burns has been inconsistent and so whose to say these two don't deserve to be our openers long term.

I'm surprised that they didn't just put Jennings in as a sort of specialist or at least have him in the squad. Seeing as his only good knocks have come in Asia 2 tons and a 50 in 10 innings.

Lucky boy is the skipper

You're always going to be on borrowed time if your first instinct is play everything going backwards. Especially on pitches like this
