Propagate indoors and then plant out when it warms up a bit. Keep your eyes out for slugs and weevil, they love a little toke.We have very rich soil...not many out of the valley.

How did the clean out go?The Springwatch bird box is back up this year but we’ve only had very fleeting visits so far. It’s so much wetter and colder than last year so it might be a late nesting season.

We get visitors, had comments before by paramedics. Now it's all alfresco and it adds a lovely aroma to a bbq in the summer.Keep them in pots, no need to wild grow it.

Just drove to the north east from Kent and loads of them above the roads. A few buzzards, but Red Kites won the bird of prey count. There was one I was not sure of, low over the road, may have been a marsh harrier and was near a wetland area. I had to stop watching it, nearly rear ended the car in front!Red kites doing their courting dances in the air
