Springwatch with Hellsbells

Teepee valley in wales, hippy community used to grow lots of weed outdoors, still people grow it outdoors in wales, strain dependent, early flowering semi-auto strains.
Would it not be tumbleweed though?

Can't imagine nice nugs outdoors in UK

The Springwatch bird box is back up this year but we’ve only had very fleeting visits so far. It’s so much wetter and colder than last year so it might be a late nesting season.

Always good to clean them out in the Winter in readinesses for Spring.
They will always come back and build a new nest.

Watching a female blackbird today in and out of an ivy bush building a nest.

Good luck 👍

Pair of blue tits come into my garden to collect the bales of my dog’s hair we leave out after brushing her.

Can confirm they’re going to have some very warm chicks
What a good thing to do, never thought of helping nature out like that. Will do that from now on.

Had loads of frog spawn again in the pond this spring and as usual I had to put some in a big container otherwise the newts eat all the tadpoles as they emerge. This morning I went to clear some crap away down the bottom of the garden and found this,

Loads of tadpoles in a little 6 inch dish! I've transferred them into a bigger container so they should all survive.

Red kites doing their courting dances in the air
Just drove to the north east from Kent and loads of them above the roads. A few buzzards, but Red Kites won the bird of prey count. There was one I was not sure of, low over the road, may have been a marsh harrier and was near a wetland area. I had to stop watching it, nearly rear ended the car in front!

Got my camera in my tit box. It packed in last year but fixed it and will hopefully last out this year.
