I live in valley on bodmin moor and the owl noise is like I’ve never heard before. The numbers are high round here

They said the Little Egret first bred in England in the 1980's and are now common and breeding in every part of the UK. I remember the first one I ever saw was about 1996 in Langstone Harbour. I got all excited and started looking online (dial-up in those days) so I could report it only to discover there were already hundreds living in this country.
I think i might wait for a good weather day to do the birdwatch
