Seen a pair of Romika trainers in TK Maxx not long ago, were only £40 which is less than they were back in the 80's but I didn't dabble, looked too clumpy now ( and I'm 50!) would have looked like i was desperately clinging to my youth! I do have a pair of Dragons like in the op pic but they are kind of gold/mustard with cream stripes, nice.....

Seeing as I haven't seen anyone actually wearing them what happened to the Romika relaunch?

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Explain, pal... this is going to be good, isn't it?

:lol:

:lol:

that's not punk, pal:lol:
Nothing to explain really .In Northern Sunderland in the 80s/90s anyone who wore black and dressed rather peculiar with chains and that hanging from their waist,with long greasy hair was referred to as a “sweaty”.

I sometimes feel as though I’m the only one from that area on here like .

Thanks for explaining all the same, pal. I guess that was me back in the day:lol:

Tacchini, Fila , Ellesse , Kappa - all sportswear that was massively popular early/mid 80s .
Along with other brands that also kitted out many a golfer - Pringle , Lyle n Scott , Lacoste .

Lacoste polo shirts have stood the test of time and still look smart today with the right attire and frame

80s casuals replicated some of cerutti 1881s gear under the label circa 81
