Massive promotion bonus as incentive.
Do you think he'd take accept a yearly salary of say £100k to £150k regardless of bonus size?
If we were to pay more than this (in this fictional arrangement), I'd expect it would impact on the quality of players we could buy/pay. I hope these Uruguayan starlet wonderkids come cheap...

No wonder they didn’t bother . McLaren giving advice , fuck me man.

That’s like taking advice off stevie wonder on how to fly a plane .
I personally think he wouldn't be a bad shout in that role of DOF or whatever they call it. But isn't happening. Schwarz would be choice now, knows the area, absolutely loved it here. Plenty of contacts and most importantly, has played the game at the highest level. Very intelligent bloke aswel. Too many positives there for him to end up here i suppose

He's already quoted he wants to come back...so there is your answer.

Schwartz as DOF and Poyet as First Team Manager. I know Poyet seemed the clash with the DOF position when here but I could think of worse appointments. Both are definitely miles better than what we currently have in place.

Stefan schwarz?? Why?

Because he played for us 20 years ago?

No thanks

How’s he qualified?

But it would have to fit in with the division one pay-scale. Only 2.5 million to pay everyone, including agents fees. Poyet would need to be paid in shares or backhanders to come here.

Only senior players wages count. He could be paid as much as we'd like, but he'd have to work with the players you can get for that wage budget, at least until promotion.
