Our caretaker managers could have picked it all up at any point during the match. Closest available people doing nothing
“Doing nothing” is a bit harsh. There was a long meeting going on in the technical area.

Very much this. If you know anything about system change, pulling back towards the old ways is almost guaranteed to make it fail.He deserves criticism, without a doubt.
But surely people can see that sacking key figures - whether it be sporting directors, DoF’s or managers - so frequently and after very little time is arguably our biggest problem?
Every time someone gets their feet under the table, as soon as a rough patch hits it gets emotional and we end up tearing up the whole blueprint to start again with someone with vastly different ideas and then it’s another 2-3 year timescale.
The big light jobby that roles along the pitch was outside of the west stand tonight, first time I've seen/noticed it being there, maybe it's going to be used againThe thing is we didn’t have a problem with the pitch for years until we were related. We’ve cut costs somewhere and we need to fix it pretty damn quick as it’s embarrassing.
I dont think we have. They have the solar lights and they seem to be on a bit.The thing is we didn’t have a problem with the pitch for years until we were related. We’ve cut costs somewhere and we need to fix it pretty damn quick as it’s embarrassing.
The people at the club sacked the manager not the fans. If westbrom, boro and watford can appoint a manager in days then so can we.People wanted LJ out. They got what they wanted. We've moved on to the next person to blame. It's six days since LJ left. It's an important decision which people repeatedly blame the club for getting wrong but now they want the club to find and install a new manager in under a week.
Agree mate. In the big scheme of things it is but demonstrates the standards people have set at the club.Couldnt agree more, the litter is a small issue but it is symbolic of the club. Was really annoying me today though watching it all swirling around the touchline and pitch.
Speakman said they always have a succession plan for managers. Where is it?Nothing like posters on here to over react.
Just read a post further up that thinks hiring a manager of a multi million pound profession football team is just like hiring Karen to handle the calls in a village library ffs
Over react? We've just witnessed back to back quite arguably the worst two league performances in the clubs entire history. We look fuck all like winning promotion and more likely spending a fifth season in league f***ing one.Nothing like posters on here to over react.

There's plenty of examples. Tuchel was announced as Lampard's replacement straight away, City had Mancini immediately lined up to replace Mark Hughes and Pep lined up to replace Pellegrini, Southampton immediately replaced Adkins with Pochettino, or if we drop down a level Boro had Wilder in to replace Warnock within 24 hours. So point me in the direction of a well-run club who appointed a manager the day after they sacked their previous manager.
Of course we'll ignore the fact that this hypothetical "well-run2 club had to sack the manager in the first place.
WrongRoy Keane wouldn't even turn this around
If Speakmen is speaking the truth it sounds like he is shitting himself about appointing Roy Keane. The people at the club sacked the manager not the fans. If westbrom, boro and watford can appoint a manager in days then so can we.
Completely agree.that’s only the biggest problem if you have the right people. It could be an even bigger problem if you give the the wrong person a long time.
Yes possibly, there’s definitely some balance missing.
Big time mateWe need to know what’s going on here !
When will we have an appointment!
The clubs strategy is all wrong for this league !
Will cost us thousands of fans another season in this league. I have no doubt.Wonder what will become of the 'plan' if we don't get promoted, the squad gets cherry picked and we have to rebuild from scratch yet again in this shit league. Add into the 'plan' fans' patience becoming very thin. Massive turnout today. The club failed them yet again.
All things considered mate, it just gets worseCompletely agree.
However what we’ve been guilty of is that as soon as the first rough patch hits we unequivocally decide it’s the wrong person in the role and take drastic action.
Genuine question - how many iterations (ie sporting director / managers combo ) before we decide it that success isn’t instant?
Personally I feel better about the current structure than I have in years in terms of how we’ve been run, so despite the criticisms (which a few are deserved) I want it to continue.
Agreed on both pointsHonestly if I was RK id stay clear of this sh*itshow . Never been so pi**ed off after a match .
Are you for real.Nothing like posters on here to over react.

Unfortunately you’re probably right, clinging on to the hope of some long term master planAll things considered mate, it just gets worse
I think keane would put a few tweaks in and we will be rolling again..bring another plodder in like some of the names mentioned and speakman will lose the crowds permanently. Whole place needs a lift and I think hiring keane would do the trick..let's hope he dosnt give them planks on sideline today much longerIf Speakmen is speaking the truth it sounds like he is shitting himself about appointing Roy Keane.
We need Keane in this evening to set some standards because in all honesty, apart from the excellent support, we are a joke of a club.
