Take the politics out of it and solely on a footballing basis Trippier hasn’t gone into Semi retirement. Unfortunately he’s been one of the best FBs in the division since he returned. Henderson simply should not be playing for his country anymore. Bring the politics back into it and one of them has sacked off his halo in the pursuit of money and the other has kept his mouth shut. One gets rightly booed and the other despite being a smelly mag tramp doesn’t.

Did anyone notice Trippier not wearing a black armband before he come on? I know he got the captain’s armband but not sure if he had one for Israel

Yeah this is vang on. Southgate saying he can't understand the booing doesn't really reflect well on him as its blatantly obvious why he was booed.

Mind I do think Southgate is perhaps laying the ground work for a move there himself. He knows he probably won't get a job on in the PL when he finishes with england so a cushy number over there on daft money would probably suit him just fine.
 
England fans have always disliked Henderson and deemed him not good enough. This is extra ammunition for them, I'm not sure the boos would be quite as loud for kane if had fecked off to the Saudi league.
Aside from the morality debate, Southgate deserves stick for still calling him up as a move to that league is semi retirement.

And what’s more, when this move was mooted and before he signed, it was made clear to Henderson what the LGBTQ community thought of the pending move. He had the opportunity to think about it, understand why he’d be letting people down and that there’d be strong criticism coming his way. He chose to sign the hefty contract nevertheless. Actions have consequences, he now has to face the boos; that’s the price of taking the coin. And Southgate needs to get his out of his arse and acknowledge this too.

He also shouldn’t be picking him because as plenty have said, he’s entered semi retirement in a poor standard league. Players like Longstaff in the peak years of their career, playing regularly in the top flight and in the champions league, must be scratching their heads.

Agree there's loads of players must think why should I bother with England ATM, ward prose has been one of the better midfielders in the league and barely gets a sniff.

Hendo took the coin and has to deal with the blowback. I think it does show 99% of footballers are fake like as I always thought hendo had more about him if he doesn't I doubt the majority do.

Henderson deserves everything he gets. Laughable he’s anywhere near the squad anyway. Same as Phillips. Southgate just needs fucked off asap. He’s about to hamper our chances in another football tournament. The only upside will be he will probably fuck off after it
 
Southgate has no idea whether everybody booing him could have been part of the lgbtq.
