If something is against the rules, how is there no punishment detailing what an infraction of that rule would result in?I don't think its people on here that's the problem - seems an overwhelming consensus saying they look guilty as fuck. Problem is with the punishment and what that should be, as that is not clearly articulated
If he had any sense he would have. Could have went to the press and been a hero. Instead he's an unemployable gonk with a shitstain on his cv for all time.A young lad desperately wanting a job in football doesn’t say no I’m afraid.
The punishment just says anything up to expulsion. I agree there should be something definitive. Problem is EFL is shite ultimately. If something is against the rules, how is there no punishment detailing what an infraction of that rule would result in?
The Smoggies think Southampton should be booted out because that suits them.
But if there is no direct punishment already in place, why should that be the result?
May as well fine the Saints and promote Hull.
I really don’t understand why Boro played Southampton anyway. They should surely have lodged a complaint when the alleged breach happened and let the EFL deal with it there and then.
What's the decision?Ridiculous decision that!
Whether Saints were looking in on the Boro training session, for just 5 minutes or a couple of hours is irrelevant - they broke the rules, and I think everybody is in agreement with that.I don't think its people on here that's the problem - seems an overwhelming consensus saying they look guilty as fuck. Southampton have a duty of care to look after this kid and make sure this doesn't happen. There's a lot of personal scrutiny on him, and he could be the face of a £150m lawsuit or of his club being denied promotion, so they need to make sure he is given some support and protection as a club.If he had any sense he would have. Could have went to the press and been a hero. Instead he's an unemployable gonk with a shitstain on his cv for all time.
And the verdict not being communicated until tomorrow apparently.I don't understand why they announced on Thursday that there'll be a meeting on Tuesday. Why wait 6 days when time is precious in this scenario. Surely they've got nothing else to do seen as though we're at the end of the season now. Typical EFL!
and 6 points deduction for EvertonPenalty to Celtic
(Sorry!)
Of course the world is full of young junior people who stand up to their employer in the early part of a career. Sure their moral compass would pay the bills. If he had any sense he would have.
