I guess if you're busted you can try to pretend you're a weirdo (is this what he did?)It's funny that they will go to the lengths of sending a lad hundreds of miles up to Middlesbrough with an old iPhone!![]()
I don't understand how Hull being auto promoted after the play-off final (if they lose) is the right option?
- Southampton have definitely cheated against Boro, who went out the play-offs to them
- They're accuesed of cheating agaisnt Wrexham, who missed out on the playoffs by a point to Hull
To then punish Southampton by promoting Hull would mean that Hull have got a benefit from Southampton cheating other clubs. Like, I feel like that wouldn't stand up.
Sorry, I meant moreso the idea that if Southampton win they may have Hull promoted in place (similar to us with Swindon)The EFL will want their big final at Wembley makes millions, don’t think anyone will be automatically promoted
Fair points.I can see why you would think that, although I don't necessarily agree.
I suppose though, if these clubs have come to Boro with this 'information', then Boro have no choice but to pass it on really.
If these other clubs have compelling evidence, then I'd presume they'd take it to the EFL themselves anyway.
The apparent situation that one of Southampton's analysts was at Boro's final training session last week, in possession of highly sophisticated recording equipment and fully decked out in Boro's training gear, should be enough to kick them out of the play off final as presumably Boro have the relevant supporting evidence. Who takes their place is getting tricky though especially if Wrexham have been fucked over, which looks possible.
A points deduction from the FL would not apply in the PL, they are different competitionsPoint deduction next season I reckon, which I hope if that’s the case, they get promoted.
It’s nothing to with the Premier League thoughPoint deduction next season I reckon, which I hope if that’s the case, they get promoted.
He was a spy using shit equipment I reckon, m'lud. Is the spot the lad from Southampton on a public space that anyone could go to and observe the training? It seems that way. If the club were really concerned about secrets being revealed they surely would have arranged to have it blocked off.
And it looks like hes filming on his phone. Hardly a complex surveillance operation!
He could have been bird watching.
The issue is Southampton spied on the training session, illegally undermining the Brough preparations.
I don’t think for a minute that Hull would complain about having to play Brough in the final. I think Southampton have given up any right to prosper further in the play-offs.
Comparing apples to oranges mateBy the way, how long have we been waiting for the Man City Independent Commission? lol
Do people really think it will be quick?
Southampton aren't in the PL yet and maybe not from what I've watched. I fancy Hull. It’s nothing to with the Premier League though
On a sporting level yes it is. Effectively wastes next season for them. Or fine them £120m so they can’t spend any of the TV money.Still hundreds of millions for them, not a bad deal
Don’t see how Bereh being passed into the final is eitherI don't understand how Hull being auto promoted after the play-off final (if they lose) is the right option?

Okay, when have the Football Authorities ever made a quick decision on a complex issue potentially involving many clubs, not just Boro?Comparing apples to oranges mate
