I dont care who you are if you have not played a test match as a side for a whole 10 months you are going to be ring rusty and get caught on the hop and thats exactly what has happened

I don't disagree with that, but talking about this test in isolation, it's a good contest. The pitch is offering something for batsman and bowler, and at the moment it's the bowlers who are dominating on both sides. If it wasn't for Clarke in the first innings, we would be looking at a really tight contest. Maybe he was helped by the fact SA haven't played for 10 months, maybe it was just his quality.

Either way, we've got a good game on our hands and a chance for South Africa to prove they deserve to be ranked 2nd in the world if they can get their batting together in the 2nd innings.
 
Does anyone think the ICC anti corruption team might have a look at this game?

they have proabably had a wager on it.

If you read between the lines in the press the ICC wont kick up much of a fuss with regards to investigating courruption coz half of them are on the fiddle themselves
