SOL expansion

It's mental how people still fling that lazy bollocks around about how the council are supposedly terrible at their job, considering just how drastic the positive changes to Sunderland have been over the last few years
It’s the Sunderland disease
Nowt getting done
Nowt here
We go to ……..
Dalton park
Washington
Etc etc
( as though that’s a badge of honour)

I think if we were to build onto the existing stadium then we sure.ymneed to go all round so that we don’t have a lopsided one like them up the road. Also we need to have this plan submitted and sorted before our council who are a disgrace by the way scupper any plans.
Sunderland council have overseen an amazing transformation of Sunderland city centre and its not close to being finished yet.

If you think they are a 'disgrace' go try living in some other places and get back to me.

Even the bridge was a negative for months as people thought it was taking to long to open, even though it was delivered on time.

I have and I still think they are a disgrace.

Aye but my point is not about now but in the future with proposed capacity increase. Haway

They are

Google it as it is out there if you care to look.

There’s nothing on Google saying that any plans have been scuppered at all. There’s an interview with Bob Murray bloviating and the club expressing concerns about plans and therefore subsequent hastily put together expansion plans (coupled with assurances from the LA chief exec that the club won’t be impeded by the council). That’s it.

The council have done a hell of a lot to actually make the club (and city) better. From the footbridge to implementation of 5G.

No it isn't.

It's 'let's make sure we're established in the premier league with a genuine demand for 10000 extra seats before we extend the stadium'.

In early May we were planning a play off game but also expecting our next season to be in the championship.

6 months later we're building the colosseum.
My name is Kyril Louis-Dreyfus, commander of the north eastern armies, general of the Wearside legions, and loyal servant to the true emperor, Stewart Donald. Father to a toddler, husband to a massive wad. And i will have my extension, in this life or the next.

Right lads and lasses

The team’s class, the club’s in good hands, the stadium has been full since the start of the season.

If we’re still class near the end of the season, it will still be full. If we’re not, it might drop off a bit. Maybe we can revisit this later in the season.

This is the most sensible take, I imagine we're already looking at it in fairness

They are called Reformers. They support the ltd company called reform. You can spot them by watching for racism, calling to defund the bbc, waffling on non stop about crypto and when they use words and phrases such as:

Woke
Mainstream media
Libtards
Two tier Kier
I’m not racist but

I've just moved up from Bristol, a city everybody talks about like it's one of the best places in the country, and that council is a f***ing disgrace!

Quite frankly, the city center up here is nicer than Bristol nowadays. Your public transport is one hell of a lot more reliable, the city center is cleaner, the various parks around the city are better looked after, and overall the place just feels less shoddy!
