SOL expansion

Check out crowds when we were last in the prem getting pumped off the likes of Wigan.

36k to 39k.

42k is perfect capacity.

A few losses and adrift in relegation zone and we will be back down to 40k.

We ? You're clearly not an SAFC supporter. Last time - almost 10 years ago - we averaged 43k in a Premier League relegation season. In that time interest in the Premier League has increased. Even if we do badly, the average won't drop below that. If we do well, we will need to extend to accommodate demand.

The stadium of light is too big for Sunderland.

Sunderland don't have the support to sell 49k very often.

The stadium of light has been soldout only 10 times since it opened.

The original 42k was perfect. 49k is too big.
Two PL 7th placed finishes. That’s been the maximum height we have reached since it opened.

We have been tested more in bad times that good times.

You stinking mags wouldn’t be able to handle what we’ve had to endure. Proper toy out of the pram fanbase that you are.

You're extremely deluded.

Increasing capacity isn't the only way to suppress demand, you can also just increase prices instead...

It'll be a long while before any form of business economics argues for extension imo.

The 2000/2001 season when the Stadium was extended to 48,707 the back of the North Stand where the BCB is/was, just had white sheet metal at the back, the Black Cats Bar was developed in the close season and opened for the 2001/2002 season. I've got a huge Framed Panoramic Photo from 2000/2001 in the loft somewhere that shows this.
That's literally what I just agreed with in my post.

The skunk also fails to consider how easier it is to get to their ground. They have better and a more extensive metro link in and around their City and a direct rail link with Durham.

As someone pointed out, they've experienced very little adversity, however when they did, their reaction was bordering on concerning. Even when they were last relegated, they managed to hold on to a number of key players and spent circa £80m. It is easy to follow a team that does that in the Championship.

They've been fortunate at times, they seem to forget this, but the serious superiority complex that many appear to have based on a team they support is frightening.

Be careful with the WE shite as your mate Pingu got ban hammered just recently for trying to pull the same shite with the baiting posts

In fact, no keep doing it as you'll soon end up with nowt else to do apart from playing GTA V with your sad mate while you both wait for GTA VI 🤪
